Join local Wompatuck authorities Jim Rose and Steve Gammon for a journey through history. Explore the story of the Cohasset Annex, from the taking of land by eminent domain through World War II and on into the post-war and Vietnam era. Discover the annex’s pivotal role in military history, and learn about the people and work that made it all possible.
Free! For ages 15+, minors must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Wompatuck Visitor Center. We will walk approximately 2 miles on flat, paved roads and dirt trails.

Join the Cohasset Historical Society for a cemetery walking tour with local historian, Bob Jackman. Visit the gravestones of prominent Beechwood residents and learn more about their lives and contributions to the community.
Enter off of Doane Street and park on the loop. The tour will meet at the top of the loop. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking on rough terrain.
